Aberdeen full back Rickie Foster and Rangers striker Andrus Velicka have swapped teams in a part exchange loan deal.

As a Aberdeen fan this makes no sense on how this will benefit us, Foster was our only full back in the team and we swapped him for another striker. We now have 6 strikers and 0 full backs. And to cap it off im not a big fan of Velicka.

both of which are natural CB's, while competent at full back its much better to have someone who's natural position is that. in addition to the possibility of one of them getting injured.

Hmm strange move...
I assume there must be money in the deal for Aberdeen....

for aberdeen? nah, if theres any money it'll be for rangers but i doubt there is.

to be honest it'll favour rangers more than aberdeen. dont see much point in the lad wanting to come to us either considering he'll hardly get a game and it isn't a permanent deal. think he was getting played regularly at aberdeen?he should be decent back-up for the league though, bit of a utility man they were saying on sky sports.

Seems quite a bad deal for Aberdeen considering the amount of full backs they now have left..
