Fraps?

Not sure if this is in the right place, move if necessary guys... Just wondering... how do you use Fraps to get highlights like Redders has done in his story?

Give some time for a reply.

I thought someone had done a tutorial.


Anyway, what I do for my stories is;

Play the game, finish, continue.

Have fraps open, and the movie tab selected. Make sure the key is enabled (usually defaulted on F9).

Click the score, view highlights>goals.

As the game starts, hit F9. It will record until you hit F9 again.

It will save it in program files>fraps>movies.

Redders whenever Ipush 'f9' it jsut goes to my transfer screen?
 
1. Buy it.
2. Install it.
3. Run It.
4. Open FM.
5. Select the Highlights you want to record.
6. Press F9 to begin capturing. Then F9 to stop recording.
7. Edit the raw footage and convert it. (Google has answers for this).


*Disable F9 in the FM keybindings, or change the Fraps key to something else.
 
Make sure you have the key enabled and you have the Fraps window selected, not the FM window. It will still record FM without the Fraps window.
 
I do.

Download Fraps, search it on google.

Then when in game record it (Default recording button is F9 but this can be changed). It will only last for 30 secs because its a trail but its all you (Well me anyway) need :D

I use Windows Movie Maker as I add music and pictures to my video and I can put my clips together using this. If you dont wanna buy it (fraps) I can help you out using the movie maker if you want.
 
I have the same problem as Al...
I press the record button, and it goes to my transfers screen :S
 
As I said, make sure you have the Fraps window selected, not the FM one...as F9 on FM is transfers.

You can change the recording button though, I use END button as that is pretty much useless FM wise

**** fraps. it just mad me crash my game. i was beating brugge 2-0 away with motherwell :(
 
Yeah fraps is very buggy on vista. It helps to run it only when your about to use it. :) Also run as admin, if you don't already.
 
I use Fraps in my Movie Highlights.

I do this..

Play a match
View Highlights
Open Fraps
Set the recording key to 'M' instead of 'F9'
View each goal while pressing M to record a 30 second clip.
Open windows movie maker
Upload all the goals into there
Add transitions and effects, maybe text
Publish movie with better qaulity
Open youtube upload page
Upload published movie onto youtube
Wait 5 minutes until Qaulity is better
Copy and Paste HTML into your desired area

Works a treat and is quick. :)
