hi have anybody got any free kicks and corner tips both defending and attacking thanks

Guys no need for the sarcastic comments :S
For some reason, corners are really difficult in fm 2010. I have trouble with them too. On 09 it was easy though.

Put one of your tallest players marking the goalkeeper, other attack near post, put corner in the 6 yard box, goal......

Well this worked great for me. On this page: http://www.fm-base.co.uk/forum/f72/more-goals-from-corner-t23843.html Btw KevyMatts posted this :

This is what i have tryed found it on the sports interactive website, good luck

Aim: Far Post
Inswinging: left footers on right corners and right footers on left corners.

GK: Default
DL: Stay Back
DR: Stay Back
DC: Attack Far (this is the primary goalscorer from corners so choose wisely)
DC Attack Near
MC: Lurk outside area
MC: Challenge 'Keeper
ML: Attack ball from deep
MR: Attack ball from deep
ST: Near post flick on
ST: Near post flick on

The primary goalscoring DC needs to have good heading, jumping, bravery, strength and anticipation which is why Phillippe Mexes has been so prolific this season for me, including a hatrick! From what i've read, height and weight don't matter in FM currently, so don't be tempted just to stick a tall guy on the Attack Far Post. If he's not brave and strong, he'll get outmuscled by the guy marking him.

Obviously it doesn't matter what formation you play, as long as the instructions match. Give it a few months and see if theres any difference, don't give up after 1 game

So....that covers the corners.
Has anyone got any ideas about freekicks like the OP asked?

I find the freekicks incredibly hard in attack, no matter what I tell my guys - and with a few quite good kick-takers I scored 2 free-kicks in my last three seasons combined...
