Free Transfer Issue

I sign a player on a free transfer and the "fee" requires my wage budget to be reduced. Is this a result of the signing on fee? Is this a bug?

This also happens if a purchase a player for $0

The reduction from the wage budget is the signing on fees for the player, we all know that even free contracts cost some money. try going for players without agents if you want to keep your budget

Its for things like the signing on fee & such that has to come out of your transfer budget. No doubt you had insufficent funds in the transfer budget so some had to be moved from wages to cover the expenses.
