ive just started a new game as grays athletic, and i cant offer contracts to the vast majority of unnatatched players. i can offer contracts to big players like appiah, gravesen, ronaldo and abreu, but not to small players [andy iro of columbus crew and jason banton, previously arsenal and tottenham]. can any1 tell me what is going on?

but what do you mean? You can't offer them a contract because it's not a option button in their profile? I think that is always the case when you manage in England and there's players from Turkey or Russia whose contracts will end. You can't get them for free. The other option could be that they are quitting, look in their profiles
