Got bored with FM so someone suggested going on editor, loading latest datbase, free transfering every player in the world, and starting a new game.

Well the mad dash to sign the big names was on! I was Middlesbrough so had a fairly modest £500k wage bill. So I wasn't going to be signing huge names galore!

I think I did quite well. The only problem is, where as some teams DO buy a whole squad full of players, some don't. Newcastle for instance have bought three players; Steve Harper, Steven Taylor and Joao Moutinho. They are bottom.

So if anyone looks at my sig in the future and thinks I am cheating, I am not...(A)

Give it a go if your bored of FM09...it keeps you entertained for at least an hour. I think on my screenshot, Crouch and Paloschi are missing. I am also £127k over my wage budget.

um it is quite fun but it is too easy when other teams don't sign enough players

Maybe you should have went for a few older players mixed with youth. Like Sign Viera,Beckham,Pires and mix it with Krivets,Marquinhos, Wijnuldum etc etc.


I did this with Hearts and it got a bit stale because teams either had no players or St Mirren were 15 points clear with Benny McCarthy etc

I made this database ages ago, i agree with redders, that its fun for a few hours

That's cool but I don't know how to work database's they never work for me

Open up FM Editor (C/Program files/sports interactive/fm2009/editor) then load database (latest patch), click tools>free all players

Then save as "free" and then when you start new game, select database "free".

Woah, I got scared for a secound, the first time I did it, it said it had some severe error, then my whole laptop froze, then I clicked off, then it closed FM09, and i clicked cancel for the whole laptop not to shut. Now I did it again it works !
