French squad vs Norway

I wouldn't usually post this but because the entire World Cup squad got banned, I thought this would be an interesting spectacle.

Manager : Laurent Blanc

GOALKEEPRS : Stéphane Ruffier (Monaco), Nicolas Douchez (Rennes).

DEFENDERS : Rod Fanni (Rennes), Adil Rami (Lille), Philippe Mexès (AS Roma), Mamadou Sakho (Paris-SG), Benoît Trémoulinas (Bordeaux), Aly Cissokho (Lyon), Mathieu Debuchy (Lille).

MIDFIELDERS: Lassana Diarra (Real Madrid/), Moussa Sissoko (Toulouse), Yann M’Vila (Rennes), Samir Nasri (Arsenal/ANG), Yohan Cabaye (Lille), Charles N’Zogbia (Wigan/ANG), Blaise Matuidi (Saint-Etienne).

ATTACKERS : Hatem Ben Arfa (Marseille), Karim Benzema (Real Madrid), Loïc Rémy (Nice), Jimmy Briand (Lyon), Jérémy Ménez (AS Roma/ITA), Guillaume Hoarau (Paris-SG).
 
Lol loads of players I don't know. Also, N'Zogbia in the squad is surprising IMO he is not good enough to play for France

Why is it suprising that he's in the top 45 French players? I don't think it is, really.

And also, seeing Nasri, Mexes, Benzema, Sakho, Sissoko and Diarra in there shows the French really do have brilliant squad depth. Ban our World Cup squad and it's no where near as good as this, IMHO.
 
Norway might actually have a shot lol.
I think France will win this though.
 
whens the game, may i see a link to the story of the game not the bannings?
 
It will be interesting when N'Zogbia can bring to the stage,as well as Hoarau and M'Vila in this friendly vs. Norway.
 
Hope N'Zogbia does well and impresses, could be his only real chance for a while.
 
If I was one of these players, picked just because of some gesture to prove a point to the WC squad, I'd tell them exactly where they could stick their call up
 
It's a very strong squad considering that it's effectively a B team! Pleased to see Sakho, M'Vila and Remy getting a chance to prove themselves. :)
 
They got the likes of Benzema,Nasir and Sakho in their Squad plus Hatem Ben Arfa so they should have little problem beating Norway
 
Wow to be able to drop 23 players and still have a squad with so many big names is something very few countries could do, Spain are probably the only other nation who could do this. I'm sure they will win against Norway.
 
I saw this announced on ssn and the readers could not stop laughing at rod fanni XD

Actually even Spain would struggle a bit but yeah they can mostly do it...Its amazing to see that such a country with so many talented players can actually go out at the Group stage of a World Cup

I said the same only other team would probably only be Spain. England dropped 13 and that squad looks fairly weak compared to this French squad with 23 players dropped

Completely agree....Teams like Brazil and Argentina will also have severly weakened Squads if they dropped 23 players
 
Still a pretty good squad. Not too sure on the goalkeepers though.
