French Youngsters

Im currently managing Lyon and want to try and keep my youngsters mainly french but im not clued up on the good young french players out there

please dont say the really obvious players such as gourcuff, sakho etc

I didnt play french ligue...You was probably find all this players here on forums...if not, here you go..players from my team...Damien Le Tallec, Yaya Sanogo, Alphonse Areola, Ishak Belfodil... Serge Aurier (10.3 patch) and one well known..Ally Cissokho
 
Jeremy Helan from Man City. I think he is 18 and plays LB. Always solid for me, in one of my long term experimental saves, Jeremy Helan was AS Roma's captain and one of their best 11. Always averaged 7.5 for years.

I'd look into him if I were you!
 
yeah he looks decent.

what age does he start to become really good?
 
you already have clement grenier who turns out good,all pretty obvious but check for regens at the end of june france always turns out some quality players so would be worth spending some time trawling through the teams, and also nantes in the french second division, oh also sofiane feghouli is quality again is well known but i dont know how well you no the game
 
gael nlundulu from portsmouth, takes some effort but he works out as a top winger eventually

Thanks mare this shortlist is great. put a bid in straight away for moussa sissoko as iv just sold toulalan.

also who would you recommend as a good fench leftback?

i currently have aly cissokho as my first choice. i do have sakho but obviously would prefer to keep him at cb. my only back up is kolodzieczak.

i have a bid of 6.75mil for tripy mokonda accepted but do you think i could get a better french LB?

currently have a 50mil budget
 
pleasure mate, get Coeff as soon as you can, he is class!

Cheick Mbengue is pretty good too, he is on there, Jeremy Helan from City is supposedly pretty decent too, Kolodzieczak is pretty much the other best young french Lb there is mate! good luck!
 
i must agree with coeff, although hes not as good as he was on 09

never even knew about him on Fm09, i found him a little while ago on my current save and have bought him, loaning him out permanently but i enquired for a screenshot on "request screenshot..." and he looked pretty **** incredible, would be awesome to get Nasri to tutor him or something, (i am Everton, dont have Nasri, well they want 7.5 million for him and i have like 5 AMC so not sure, i do love him IRL though) hhmmmm... :D
 
thanks i will look into coeff altough i do have said mehamha, who is starting to look like a very good player and only 19 years old. also maxine gonalons is a similar type of player i have and my ***. manager thinks he is best def. mid in squad.

For ''realisticness'' the french ligue un is jam packed of african kids. Try looking for a few of them. Theres bound to be a new Didier Drogba out there!?
 
montpellier have a few good ones,- Ait Fana, belahanda, and El Kaoutari. i did start a game with them, but i always prefer second div clubs. Ait Fana is rw but is left footed, he seemed to score alot, very good player. belahanda is lw but right footed, ideal if u play inside forwards liek i do :D
 
just signed serge aurier, a rb, from lens for 4 mil. only 17. looks like a very promising player
 
Jeremy Helan starts to become good around 20-21. In my save he's 20 and doing well in Serie B in Italy.
