Hey,
I am playing with a modified database and the only modification was to remove the foreign player restriction in Turkish league. I got it from the steam workshop.
I'm in 2018 now. Until 2016, my players were like rocks, none of them got injuries. And if they did, most was for 1 month.
But in 2016 and later, my players (same players who got only minor injuries) started to get injured more frequent and it lasted longer. Some of them were injured in training and some of them in the game. But the minimum injury time is 3 weeks right now. Why can it be?
In 2016, the injuries costed me the CL semi-finals, because I had to play with U19 players, with low potential and even lower abilities. Needless to say, despite the first game being 2-0, I lost 1-4 and got knocked out. In 2017, I had to give up Turkish Cup so I can go on with EC.
Taking the lesson, I got some more backup players this time. It costed me much, but I don't mind. Right now, I have 14 injured players! 4 of them were my first team players and 6 of them were backup to those guys.
Now because I have wonderkid shortlists, I transferred those people, stuck with them and developed them into good players, I got better finances and now better squad. Do you guys think that the other teams tackle my players harder? So hard that they are out for 4-5 months? Even my goalkeeper.
And because the development of the club is faster than my players, I don't have many home-grown players, so it is a big pain for CL as well.
I never changed training, btw. And I never let the player play if he is not fit.
Please help! I'm in a position where the board does whatever I want (Gonna get most advanced training area soon) and I'm starting to hate that save.
NOTE: I have an injury-prone player and I can live with him being injured for long times, because I expect that. But everybody gets injured for very long time.
