friendly matches

I don't like playing friendly matches, it's boring and against weak opponents I always won with 7 or 8-0.. and nothing good is in this friendly matches, only my players can hurt :O
So i always delete friendlies what about you guys?

i just make my assistant take control of friendlies so i do all the important stuff

how do your players get match fit then for the start of the season?

well, after 4-5 matches, they are fit

Always have a 1/2 dozen. Some are against better teams some are against very weak teams. I play everyone 45 minutes for each match. I like to see how players react when they are up big or down a lot. Also who gets complacent. They're more important when I buy a lot of players and I need them to blend in together. I also use it to get guys re-trained in new positions. So if someone does get hurt during the season there's cover. You can train them in new positions but it's always faster if the actually play in those positions. With nothing at stake they're free to stuff up as much as they want. Also they make a tidy bit of cash.
