After Ajax boss Martin Jol dramatically resigned after becoming disillusioned at not being the super power in Holland anymore.
He was reported to have said: I cant take this anymore. No matter how much goals we score we still come up short at the end of the season.I think it best if the club and I go separate ways.The Ajax chairman has come out and said:We are disgusted that we have lost a manager of martin jol's caliber but we are confident that we can replace him immediately.

Day 1: Steve mcClaren and Fred rutten have been linked with the vacant Ajax post but the favorite to get the job has so far been former Ajax and Holland boss Marco Van Basten.
Day 2: Marco van basten believed to be in talks with Ajax over possible return.
Day 3: Ajax stun the football world in Holland by announcing rookie manager Luis Fernandez has been given the job at the Amsterdam arena.
Day 4: the Ajax chairman has reportedly come out and said that he had complete faith in Luis and that the fans had nothing to fear.

Pre season went quite well With some big victories coming in again European mega powers.
and Luis is scoring goals freely as well as the whole team. Confidence is high great way to start the season.

Completely dominated from start to finish but psv couldn't find a way past our keeper who was in inspires form.Had a chance to win it right at the end but eriksen hit the post.

Completely dominated the game from the start against weaker opposition and lodeiro scored a magical goal DE zeeuw then scores a screamer from about 30 yards which soared into the top corner.

After the midweek mauling of apoel we were confident going into this game. Lodeiro got us off to a great start early on.Before a scond half display of total football saw us grab 3 tap ins.

Nicholas lodeiro grabbing an early goal again that set us off great. he then scored a thunder bolt from about 35 yards before setting up both of pantellic's headers.

Almost perfect performance from my boys.Pantelic showing his predetory instincts by scoring three tap ins.Demy then scored another screamer to add to the one hes got all ready.(25 yards).

Gritty performance from my boys. We came back strong after they were awarded a dubious penalty and Suarez re-payed my decision to restore him to the starting line up with a delightful lob from the edge of the box .

They absolutely dominated so we were on the back foot for most of the game.we played awful and recorded our only shot on goal when Suarez beat four players and fired a screamer in at goal to rescue us late on very late on.

They absolutely dominated from the off till about the 21st minute when we broke dangerously for suarez to score an overhead kick from an impossible angle.(near byline)From then it was all us as
vertonghen worked a 1-2 with Suarez to let loose a monster from well over 30 yards.at the break up subbed suarez and brought on siem De jong and told him to prove a point and he did scoring three screamers in the second half.all from well over 30 yards.

They scored early on after we over committed to a set piece.that early concession seemed to motivate us as captain reliable Mr.Suarez saved us with two poachers goals.The second an absolutely delightful chip from inside the box.

My Player of the month: Luis Suarez. Absolutely fantastic compared to his first month when he only scored one goal. Suarez got 5 goals in 5 games this month with almost all of them being crucial game winning goals.

My Flop of the month: Nicholas Lodeiro. After showing signs of being able to live up to expectations lodeiro was woeful this month not picking up a rating over 6.50 he also failed to score/get and assist over five games.

One of the most exciting games i ever saw.i expected to play for a draw but we grabbed two goals on the break and then they pulled on back before the break.Johann berg scored on the break to equalize for them and i began to get scared.that was before Vertonghen scored a volley from a corner as we began to take the game to them to then equalized 20 seconds after the restart and i thought what can we do to beat these guys that is until captain fantastic stepped up and scores a screamer from just inside the box.I thought we better sit back and as AZ poured men forward we caught them on the break twice scoring both times as sulejmani finally scored for us and lodeiro kept up his goalscoring exploits.

Dutch cup continued with my progress a solid 2-o win would have liked to score more but at least Suarez scored a thunderbolt.

My player of the month: Nicholas lodeiro scored 6 goals in 6 games but the award goes to Jan vertonghen for some stellar displays in midfield. gaining a rating of 7.80 in every match.

Ajax continue their fine form with a devastating win over feyenoord with Nicholas lodiero scoring an explosive brace both from 25 yards and weilart showing our ability to score from anywhere by scoring a thumping back post header.

Having already qualified this match was kinda meaning less but we still had to wrap up first place so we dispatched Haifa quite easily.With Suarez and aissati both scoring braces.Suarez scored from outside the box yet again a screamer into the top corner before scoring a typical inzaghi goal by getting away from the shoulder of the last defender before blasting the ball into the top corner with aissati uncharacteristically scoring two headers that peter crouch would have been proud of.

The biggest match of our season so far and we were inspired form dispatching twente with some counter attacking football typical of Russia 2008.In this match suarez picked up a slight knock only for us to find out after the game that nothing was wrong.whew!! stopped breathing for a minute.

Ajax with what we call this season a typical Amsterdam performance dominating, explosive and clinical.Suarez despite his slight knock in the last game started and scored a delightful brace with both being poachers efforts.Sulejmani despite my critism of him this season is finally showing his worth banging in another goal.

Absolutely brilliant.Breathtaking I've run out of adjectives although missing a penalty lodeiro stole the show by scoring three goals and grabbing six assists.Hatrick from lodeiro hatrick from Suarez Goals from eriksen lindgren and my vote for goal of the season from vertonghen how scored a delightful lob over the keeper after a bad clearance from about 45 yards.

MY PLAYER OF THE MONTH: Luis Suarez scores 8 goals and had 4 assists during a terrific month for Ajax.
