So I have decided to do something I have never done before by only choosing leagues I have never managed in and starting unemployed and seeing who wants me to manage them.
So when I first entered the game there was 23 jobs I could apply for, so I APPLIED FOR THEM ALL. And how many got back to me the same day? 11 yes almost half of the jobs I applied for gave me a response on the same day. So after looking at all the clubs and slowly rejecting the ones I didn’t want, I found a club that would be perfect for my first year in football. So the club I decided to manage is PSS in the Indonesian Premier League.​

Yeah there are 4 leagues in this league? We are in League A and we play each team in League A 2 times, so this is a pretty short league.
This is the squad I would go with on the first day but I do have another 100 days to make any changes before I actually play a league game

So hopefully I can make this a fun challenge for you all to read and if you can recommend any players then if they fit the squad I will buy them.​
 
That is probably the most creative title on this whole website :)
 
I am pretty sure that it took me longer to think of that title then it did to write the article haha
 
So after over 100 days between when we had started with PSS and 2 days before the first match in the league I thought it was a good time to show you what I managed to do with some transfers and how the friendlies went.
First up is the transfers

So I spent 230k on transfers and every penny all went to the back 4, I lost my main centre defender Waluyo after I didn’t realise he would be my best DC. So I had to make sure I had someone who can replace him and then get some extra backup. So I got 3 DC 1 DR and 1 DL, I offloaded Singa because he was aging and in the three games I let him play he didn’t get above 6.2 rating. I managed to get 2.3k for him which is how much he was worth so I thought it was a good dead to manage to get that.

I am really looking forward to using Prasetyo as he has got a lot of room to improve, so hopefully he can be the next big Indonesian DC since that last dude.

So my friendlies didn’t go very well, at first I was doing great I got 2 wins in 2. But then I came up against Melbourne Victory and after that I haven’t won since. It was also that game where my start striker Guy Junior got injured for 2 months so I have to start the season without him.​

So I’ll be back in 2 months with an update on how the league is going, as I have never managed in this league before I don’t know what to expect.​
 
So we are now two months into the league and it is time for an update.
So we will have a quick look at the league table and see how well we have managed to do.

As you can see we are sitting pretty at the top with 5 wins out of 5, with 15 points and there is already a 6 point gap. Hopefully this is a good sign for what is going to come. To be honest I did have a few close games that I thought where going to go the other way but with our defending force, we are doing quite well. Also we have got a great striker and I cant wait to see what happens when guy junior is fit again.

So we are scoring well but in a few games we are also letting in a few too many for my likings. If you also looked carefully you will see that out of the 5 games that where played Irfan and islnaini have both scored 5 goals so they is doing amazing for us and is probably the reason why we are doing so well right now.
Because of the wins I have managed to win manager of the month 2 times in a row. Lets hope that this can continue and maybe even win the league with our first team of this league.

We are getting the best average attendance which is going to be nice with the money that comes from it, but somehow we still only have 50 season ticket holders. But even with the two inform players we aren’t at the top of the scoring charts but Irfan has got the most man of the matches awards so that is something.
I will be back again in 2 months’ time and let’s hope that we can maintain the amazing form we are in now.
 
So we are now back for our next update
As you can see from the table we are still doing very well in the league with a 6 point gap between us and second. So far we have won 10 drawn 2 and lost 1 which I could take in any league any time, at the beginning of the season we where predicted to come seventh so I am very happy so far with this.

I am happy with how well the tactic is working in this small league, lets hope it can only get better.
Because of the draws and lose we suffered I only managed to win manager of the month once in two months, bit of a let down from the two we had in the last two months haha.​

We have had a bad injury where our main central midfielder is out for 8 months and our best replacement is 1 star rating, so we know what we have to look for in the transfer market.​
 
I decided to finish the season of in this update and then from now on just do yearly updates as it is something I prefer to write.​

So I somehow managed to carry on the great results and win the league, but I didn’t just win the league I also managed to win promotion into the super league. But I did lose in the second round of the Indonesian cup to the leaders in the super league so I am not all that mad.

And as you can see we did start slipping up near the end of the season but that was because I started to add in more reserve players to the team.

I also included a screenshot of the squad on the final day, as you can see put in guy junior as I turned off foreign limitations, and he did literally nothing as he was subbed of before the second half started.​

Also I managed to win manager of the year, I also had two players in the team of the year, and they were Isnaini and Prasetyo so overall I had a pretty good season at PSS. Isnaini also got top goalscorer for all the leagues​

So after finishing the season, I saw a job open up in the Ukrainian league from new promoted side into the Ukrainian First league Arsenal-Kyivschyna, I had to apply for that job as I have never even been close to the Ukranianain leagues. So I stepped down from PSS and then three days later got offered the job.
So I am now the manager of Arsenal…Kyivschyna.​
