Well, after reading my last few posts I realized most of them included a rant of sorts regarding the new patch. I, as (I assume) everyone else, had high hopes for the patch, expecting the new transfers for the team I play the most. But I find myself dissapointed and frustrated, to be honest. The transfers did not benefit my team at all, alas, that's not SIs fault as the players were already like this since the first patch. However, a player loaned out has been made a permanent transfer, which is not good, my wage budget has been reduced by 15% (And I start over the limit, and have no transfer budget whatsoever, which was realistic, but I don't really thing the budget cut is), and a player that belongs to the team since the beginning of the season is still a free agent, and he doesn't want to sign, even if only for realism. I have, however, managed to put a decent team together, so one could argue this concerns are mostly cosmetic.
On the other hand, though, I've found myself closing my fist in agony and anger every time a match is over, after realising one or two of my players are injured. Injuries have become too frequent since last patch, and in my particular experience (Which may, of course, differ from yours), penalties have as well. Giving away a penalty per game on average is killing me. Also, in spite of the patch notes hinting that goalkeepers had been tuned down when it came to one-on-one situations I've found myself watching my strikers blasting the ball at the keeper time and time again, regardless of their ability, or the keeper's ability, for that matter. Of course, they have managed to score as well, I've had players scoring a goal every other game or even a goal again for a short while, but when you play a small team facing relegation, that is just not enough. What is more, on the other end of the pitch, I've conceded plenty, even when my keeper (Who isn't precisely Lev Yashin, I have to admit) is better than his counterpart. I've been particularly ****** at the amount of goals I concede from set pieces, and of course the penalties. I don't mind conceding a goal from a set piece - it happens IRL, so I think it's realistic. But when you lose 5-1 and the opposition scores 3 headers from corners and 2 penalties in 7 shots, and you blasted over 20 shots at the opposition keeper, well, I think I have a reason to be ******.
So, if you've read this, you're probably wondering what on earth is the purpose of this thread - basically, I want to know your experiences with the patch. Is it just me having **** luck, or is everyone else experiencing some, all, or other problems with this patch - or maybe non at all?
