Started a new game as Fulham I figured nice mid-table team room for improvement and fairly decent players whilst having to be sensible with the transfers and that's my problem I never am.
They start with a budget of :
Fulham: £9.25m - £13m Wage: £750k p/w £875k p/w
I always start with the smaller - don't want to outdo myself before I've started.
So far my signings have been:
IN:
Craig Gordon - Free
Wellington Nem - £3.5m
Ademilson - £5.25m
Carlos Fierro (Loan) £100k option to purchase at £5.75m
Ruben Yttergard Jenssen - £1.7m
Jores Okore - £1.3m
OUT:
David Stockdale - £1.5m
Simon Davies - £1m (although having to pay £10.5k a week so he would accept a smaller contract with Nottingham Forest)
Neil Etheridge - £14k
Matthew Briggs - Season long loan
Stephen Kelly - £3m
Philippe Senderos - £3.7m
I am pretty lightweight should more than 3 of my first team players get injured so good squad fillers are whats needed really but maybe partial to 2 young players with potential if the money is right . I have approximately £4.4m to spend leaving about £40k on wages (can be adjusted obviously) , just would like some ideas really.
At the moment I am playing a 4-5-1 formation so am a bit lacklustre in defence and midfield mainly .
