Full backs losing possession

No matter what tactic I use, the full backs keep holding on to the ball and don't pass when they can, and then they lose possession;;
Please, any tips on fixing this??

Make sure they dont have Hold up ball ticked

Hard to say as we dont know how you have been playing. One hint is to instruct them to play à mixed passing game, not trying to beat their man also having at least 2 players coming deeper to provide passing options.

My best advice would be to watch à full match, making sure that its not only in the highlights they loose the ball. After all, the highlights show chances and NOT all the times they so hold possession well. For example, in à 424, the fullbacks do get under allt of pressure and the flanks are à weak area.
