Do people play him RW or ST? What is his best position? Is he an out and out number 9?
 
I play him RW, also has the best rating on that position. Play him as a striker sometimes when I only have wingers on the bench and he did pretty well there whenever he needed to play there. (Like scoring two goals against Barcelona for example in the Champions League.)
 
ive played him as an inside forward or a complete forward. works wonders from either position
 
I've never signed Barbosa, Who would you compare him to?
 
I generally play him in a STC role mainly because he scores for fun.
 
I am in my first season with Man United and play him as inside forward. In Mid April playing in Champions league Semi Final and top of the league. Helps having Barbosa scoring 24 goals and 20 assists so far! Assisted loads for Harry Kane upfront
 
Man Utd - I have him so he can play either but the idea was to be a ST but ended up playing at RW because he was scoring and assisting so I left him there.
 
I used him as IF and STC and performed amazing for me :)
 
I'm using him mostly as a (lone) CF/A. 18 league goals in his first year (2016-17) and 5 goals in 6 appearances so far in his second season. Doesn't seem to have a weak part of his game and looks like a great attitude as well.
 
This guy has been banging in the goals on my arsenal save, play him as a ST
 
Only signed him the once and that was for Man U I played him as IF and he was amazing for me.
