What kind of experiences have people had with him? Looking to sign him for Palermo in Serie B. Does he turn out anywhere near as good as Stanciu?

On my game (2022) both were tutored by the AI and Iancu turned out the better player, so I'd say he does.

Those screenshots are with AI Management;
Most times Stanciu becomes better. That's just my personal observation from most of my saves
However, if you pick up Iancu now and nurture him yourself from the get go, he will become better than Stanciu in the AMC role, Having said that Stanciu is always more expensive to buy than Gabriel. There you have it
