Game Could NOT SAVE

rite guys am fed up now i have tryd a couple eh things and it aint work but a downloaded the 10.3 patch then download the transfer updates and when a started a new game it says the game could not be saved any answers
 
i shut it down by going to shut down in programs lol and it cant be **** space as i have just whiped my computer and put windows 7 on it
 
Did you close Football Manager correctly? (Either settings quit game or press the X in the corner then quit)

yes man a dunno why its started to **** up lol do u think if i uninstall then re-install it would work again or would i have to download the patch and the transfer updates again
 
Try saving it under a different name ? :S
 
i have and it just doesnt work its when i start a new game and i pick my team it comes up the game couldnt save a felt like kicking the computer out the door lol
