Game crashes at the same pint over and over?

Playing my Aberdeen season and trying to convince my star man, Ryan Jack, to stay at the club, promising him i will win the Scottish Cup next season.. However every time i click on that option my game crashes and i have to play Hibernian again! is this a bug or just FM telling me to give it a rest?

thanks.. I've spent an hour trying to get my **** win back! they keep scoring from long throws which also seem to be ridiculously broken!
