Game freezes when i click: Next - Select Team To Manage.

This is a major problem since I can't start a new game anymore, for some reason it's only started happening lately. The last time I created a new game was about 3 weeks ago and that all went smoothly. But now every time I start a new game I can enter all my manager profile details and stuff but the second I click the "Select team to manage" the whole game freezes and does nothing :/

I am playing on the 11.3 patch and I have been doing so since the patch came out. I have uninstalled the game numerous times but that doesn't solve the problem either. I am using the game disc not steam.

Can anyone please help me solve this problem :/

If you are on Windows 7 go to C:\Users\*insertyourusername*\AppData\Roaming\Sports Interactive (edit: don't know why there is an undeletable space there, don't put in that space, 'sportsinteractive' is all one word')
Once you are on there delete the 'Football Manager 2011' folder... that might make it work, i had a similar problem.

Doing this will disable all of your kitpacks, facepacks, skins, and reset all settings to default, but all you need to do is change your settings back to what they were, then if you had skins and stuff, uncheck use skin cache, and make sure 'reload on confirm' is ticked, then press confirm, it will come up with a loading screen, and all of your graphics will be back

I'm afraid that doesn't work :/ It still freezes, I thought it would of worked because before I read your post, someone else had the same problem on the SI forums and they said to do the exact same thing as what you've just said. I hope someone can find me the answer soon :/

Hmm.. there was a similar problem on FM10, and i've read if you delete the crash dumps it solves it, so it might be the same for this, i highly doubt it though.

Do you have any custom databases checked? If you have a database that isn't compatible with your patch, or have conflicting databases it could cause a crash

I've deleted the Crash Dumps and that hasn't solved the problem :/

I currently have no customs databases' downloaded. I am going to delete my Metallic Logo graphics as someone said when he removed that it worked. I'll get back to you on what happens.

I've sorted it out now, I had to do a full manual uninstall and delete all the registry history and stuff. Works a treat now!
I used this tutorial to do manual uninstall. Just for other peoples future problems.
