Is there an editor-file that allows me to start a new save in July 2012 instead of 2011?

Don't know about an editor file-i'd be interested in that aswell, but if you have no luck , what you can do from my (limited) knowledge; if you add certain leagues in you can change the start date. Example - I'm starting a game in Eng, but have the Sweden league. This means I can start late Feb 2012! It will generate results for the game up to there. I try and start a few new games until its roughly like how it is in real life (e.g. Man City/Utd top etc). Also you could always switch transfer budgets of and go on holiday for a year

The game generates transfers if you start the game past the usual start date.
You should be able to arrange dates in a way that allows this though... Whether or not that requires you to remake the nation rules, I don't know...

I don't think you can. You could however, start a game then create a manager to holiday a year. Then retire that manager and make a new one.
