Game Too easy this year??

So i've just finished my first season...it went a lil too well, im Using man united but are they really that good?
I've also noticed so many high scoring games, from me and other team, a lot of 7-0's, 6-1.
I saw Everton beat Chelsea 8-0, i lost to Westham 6-1 lol...so clearly the match engine is kinda unbalanced ?

u have to remember it is a game,yes united are struggling irl but they have an amzing squad with great quality in all areas so its no surprise how well u did.FM cant take into account all the little factors of real football no matter how great a simulation it is.I guess thats why so many are trying to create the super tactics to balance it out.for example im using zyndars falchion v3 with las palmas and its such a great tactic that im overachieving with average players compared to barca,real etc.If u want a challenge pick a team predicted to struggle and set rules regarding transfer and youth policy.i always focus on youth.

Have you tried playing with a smaller team ? I think that if you play with teams like Man Utd , City, Barca Real e.t.c. every FM version seems easy! It is like playing old school game (like Duke Nukem) with "God mode" !
