Game wont go past jan 31st

Is anyone else having this problem after the jan update? This is the second save game ive wasted my time with, as well, it just says 'processing' after pressing continue. I left this running for 3 hours just in the vain hope it would carry on, but to no avail.

Please help, I was doing amazingly with The Mighty Hull City at the time and all!!

As sods law dictates, the time when I get desperate enough to reach out for help, the ****** thing decides to work!
