Im trying to do the whole "div 3 to SPL" but im doing it with a proper 3rd Div team, Peterhead. In my fourth season. second in first div. Im needing a final push to make some serious money, never seem to sell players so im looking for other ways to generate cash so i can take the team professional, any help on making the team Pro would also be appreciated!!

Cheers

Organise home friendlies with big clubs, that'll generate some cash for the club, and then in turn hopefully give you some more cash to spend.

I tried it with Queens Park Rangers in FM2011...what a frustrating time

^ This. Try and squeeze in as many friendlies as possible. I normally play 10+ each pre-season.

If your team can take it/is big enough scheduling friendlies during the season can bring in some good cash too. aside from that there's not much you can do aside from buy low/free and sell high or get into Europe.

Friendlies during international breaks should also do it.
By the way, you might not get a chance with the first teams of the bigger teams, so you can try and challenge the reserve teams.

if you get to the spl, you will need to spend money to have a stadium with 6000 seats and have undersoil heating. this happened to me and cost me 2,8m

Cheers guys appericate it!! Im now top of the First and have a serious chance of Promotion but still Semi-Pro, id love nothing more to achieve promotion but we aint ready so its a bit of a bittersweet moment tbh!! I have been doing the friendlies and altho its great its not enough!!! For some reason no one bids for my players, some of them are decent and could be worth a couple of hundred K but no bids ever!! Will see how i get on, cheers!
