Sky Sports have today reported that Newcastle United (caretaker) Manager, Chris Hughton, has been resigned from his post. This is rumoured to due to alleged match fixing scandal, Hughton is believed to have been betting on Newcastle games and fixing results. Owner Mike Ashley, gained a little respect from the Newcastle fans by suspending Chris, but with many of the Geordie faithful after Hughton’s head, surely this is the end for United’s manager.
With Newcastle in complete disarray, will anyone take charge? Alan Shearer was believed to come in and rescue the club and give the fans some hope, but after his short term spell as manager trying to keep the side in the Premiership, Shearer stated ‘I have always made it common knowledge that I wish to take charge of Newcastle one day, however I am sorry to say this is not the right time.’
With Shearer rejecting the club and many big name managers not wanting to work with Mike Ashley, Newcastle has turned to unknown manager, Liam Woodhouse, Fans are said to be confused. Newcastle fans have always had to expect the unexpected.
Woodhouse is a lifelong Newcastle fan; in press conference he impressed the fans with his comments. Liam said ‘this is a dream come true for me, i have dreamed of this since I was young.’
He continued ‘I will be looking to the future, young talented players will take this team forward.’
With Mike Ashley’s future still in doubt, the new manager has been given no money to spend and will have to sell players if wish to bring in players. So Woodhouse will be looking to offload the deadwood and looking to improve with free agents.
(I have eventually got a new laptop since my old one keep crashing :'( I will update monthly, with print screens of major matches or events, I have also added shots of board finance etc at start since my pure luck has been seen as cheating in the past)

half way through the season Newcastle are top of the league but form has dropped recently.
Fans are dreaming of some big name (well big for championship) signing and strengthening the squad for the premiership (hopefully).
Ben Arfa has already agreed to join in january (17.75mil)

Napoli has agree a transfer fee of 14 mill for striker lavezzi
Newcastle fans are most excited for the anticipated signing of palombo for 16 mill, contract negotiations
on going,
I will be looking to strength the defence as Sol Campbell has been pretty poor so far, pace being main problem.

well I got a bit carried away and have finished the season so ill put a screen shot of the rest of the season.

Newcastle also set a new defensive record going six games without conceding (a stupid own goal ended this :'( )
