german starting 11 rule

Hi,

I know that Germany doesn't have foreign player rule for their squad, but how is it about the starting 11. Can I play with the number of foreign players I want or are there any restrictions.

There is a restriction for cup games, I think it is 3 fgn players in the starting line up

Yes, there are no restrictions in the league but for the German Cup you are limited to starting 3 non-EU players, you can always just have more on the bench though.

Yeah, in the DFB-Pokal, you are limited to three non-EU players in the line up whereas in the Bundesliga you are free to play as many foreigners as you like.
