Hey everyone, just started my 2015/16 season with Liverpool and I'm having issues with "Captain Fantastic", he simply gets injured every game he's played in, whether he starts or is subbed in, he gets injured.
It started back in 2014/15 but not as frequent, now he's unplayable.
I signed Sergio Canales (£10m) and Fernando Gago (Free) 2 seasons back as potential replacements, and have a few Regens that have been tutored by him, so I'm ready to let him retire. Canales has been great with plenty of years ahead of him and Gago outperforms him and Lucas when it comes to choosing a midfield partnership, but he is still my first choice captain for obvious reasons.
I have him available for an Assistant Managers role, which is what I want him to do but he insists on playing or wants £170k to be an Assistant Manager.
So, my question is, how can I stop his injuries for his remaining years as a player?
Or what I want most, how can I influence him to become an assistant manager now?
