get rid off players at game start?

hi,
i just started a new game (third division) and want to get rid off 5 players in the squad since they just strain my wadge budget. i think i read in a hint that you can agree a mutual termination for everybody when you take over a new club as a manager, but those players just get unhappy and don't wanna end their contract, so what else can i do?

the mutual termination is for staff that were already at the club before you became manger, not players. try to sell the players.

good to know, thanks for the fast reply. but there is another problem: those players all have a value of 0, and no clubs are interested. and for some others players it says that clubs are not interested because that player just arrived at my club.

you could try to fire them, look at their salaries and what you should pay in compensation, maybe you'd still make some profit.

can i ask why you want to get rid of your players?

@katie: i just started a new game with a poor third division club, and i have a VERY limited wage budget, and some players just eat like 500 € / month while they are really bad and i can't use them at all (just like any other club, nobody wants them). i could hire at least 2 talented young free agents from their wage, that's why i want them to leave my club.
