Getting a new job!

How hard is it to get a new job?

The first season i have done a season with my hometown Mansfield where the board expectations were mid table... I then went on the finish 2nd and gain promotion via the play offs.

The second season in League 2 i was expected to avoid relegation but I finished in comfortable mid table and in the third season i am now 5th after 10 games and my expectation for this season is avoid relegation again.

I have applied for numerous jobs and never get them, even in the championship i never get considered?

At the start of the game my past experience was ex international player and my current repuation is continental?

Whats the crack? because i want to move away from Mansfield now lol!

sometimes clubs wont pay compensation so u might need to resign from mansfield to get another job
 
yhhhh but its every single team mate, im not even considered :s lol
 
sometimes its just that the clubs think youve not done enough and you have to win more throphies
 
Just patience I guess. And luck of the draw. Don't be too ambitious with your applications, you're not going to get a job in the championship for being mid table mediocrity in L2.
 
yeah i know but compared to football manager 2010 its so hard to get a new job
 
its not realistic i got to prem and still no jobs but a guy in league 2 got the villa job
 
I also find it hard getting jobs. I think they needed to make it harder than 10 but maybe they went too far?
 
I get teams coming to me asking for me to manage them.
Thats becuase my rep is World Class!
 
How do you get a job with just National rep? I cant get anything.

It depends on the League's you have loaded, the best thing if you're not employed is to go on holiday indefinitely and then tick apply for all jobs and then return from holiday when offered a job. Sooner or later, a club should offer you a job.
 
Ok done will try that, how do you know you are offered a job whilst on holidays? does it automatically return you from them?

Sacked after one match as i had applied for another position. I applied for 2 before going on holidays.

that's very unlucky as normally if you apply for more then one job and get accepted for one then it automatically cancels all the offer applcations you've made, or it did up to patch 11.2, not played that one yet so can't comment but i doubt they would have changed it.
 
I think it depends on your reputation as a manager. Be World Class then you'll get most of the jobs you want.
