We all know he is world class. But he doesnt act like one in my career. But I want to change that and I need your help.

-I'm using him as a deep lying playmaker support
-I'm using 4-2-3-1 (http://www.fm-base.co.uk/forum/downloads.php?do=file&id=3437)
-I know there are people who is using him as an AMC but I cant because I have Samir Nasri, Jack Wilshere, Arshavin for AMC.
-I need duties (run from deep, through balls, swap position, roam from position...)
-I need the best role and I prefer a support role because I dont use DMC I'm using MC so I need his help for defence.
-Should i use him as primary playmaker? I saw someone who is using him as primary playmaker, target man (with target man supply run onto ball). Should i try it too?

Best regards!

Kinda restrictive in terms of what we can suggest don't you think?

This is probably the reason why he's not performing, your lack of DMC means he's acting as the most defensive midfielder.

Change your tactics, don't blame Cesc.

Ye i agree with Jake

Cesc needs to be set free in midfield not limited.

he is an epic driving force going forward, play to his strengths, he is your best player!

It is kinda your fault for trying to use Cesc Fabregas as a midfield terrier.

If you're playing 4-2-3-1 why can't you play him in AMC? Nasri and Arshavin both perform fantastically on the left anyway, and Wilshere can play in CM just fine as well.

Play him as an AMC - Advanced Playmaker - Support.

He had a very good season for me, but I was using a custom db and sliders..

tricky one aint it. i also play with arsenal 4-2-3-1. i had him cm support with song or denilson cm defending. all i will say is make sure he tutors jack wilshire. his stats and form is now immense and is a regular starter plays behind tevez. i wouldnt recomend changing formation to suit cesc as it suits the team to perfection, there is so much movement infront of fabregas in walcott arshavin and nasri, id keep him where he is dictating the tempo. dont play him amc. also hes not bad at tackling so id keep him where he is

He's not going to get forward a lot as a deep-lying playmaker. That's VERY roughly what his old role was (actually more Box-to-Box) so don't expect him to get loads of goals.

Try THIS TACTIC and play him at CM/AMC.

He should be primary playmaker.

i would suggest trying a box-to-box CM. He plays well in my save at this position, has pretty good attacking and defending skill.

Off topic: Why is everyone trying to play Wilshare as CM? I see a star AMR Inside Forward in him..

Personally mate I would play him as an Adv playmaker, He done amazing for me in this if your playing centre mid try him as a deep lying playmaker but I do recommend the Adv Playmaker role.

Because he's naturally a CM? But AMR is good too on FM

on my game Wilshere is my best DM

I play a 4-5-1 with inside forwards, with Cesc in CM as advanced forward - attack. He's currently averaging 7.8, and in 28 games he has got 21 assists and 10 goals, so I believe that is one of the best ways to play him ;)

I use a very similar tactic to that 4-2-3-1 only with a few changes i play with one cm much more attacking and one very defensive to keep some balance, i won the euros with spain and fabbers did well for me from mc, so it is possible you just need to tweak his position and the players around him to get the best out of him, so basically you need one more defensive player in there to allow him to roam and let him have more creative freedom through balls high crossing sometimes and fairly high attacking and i also use this player as my playmaker. With the right tweaks you should see him arriving late in the box and generally supporting attacks in both phases with him making rather a lot of assists too. I keep thinking of releasing this tactic but i don't think its quite ready yet.

Edit I just checked and its like Advanced playmaker (Attack) with a few tweaks in the cm position.
