I can't believe I'm saying this, but even though I am a long term fan of FM games, I am getting bored of starting a game, winning a few, losing a few, winning a few championships and selling a few players for big money (which I must admit is the way every single new game I play goes like).
Even though I'm getting bored of FM, I don't want to stop playing it.
Does anybody have any ideas on how I can enjoy FM like I used to. (e.g a challenge or a patch.)

The way most people get bored is playing to much in high leagues. Start unemployed with no past experience. Get a job with a low ranked club, work your way up :D

just give it a break for abit play xbox or ps3 if uve got even one and then in a couple of weeks u will wanna play it or just try it out with young stars makes it that little bit more fun er

Yeah really, i had the same feeling for some months ago, but then i started a new game with Q.P.R and i had much more fun.. :D

Old Style Lower League Management challenge.

Start with a randomly chosen blue square north/south team with your own personal details and experience. Sign only players which have been scouted by your scouts/coaches. Only accept job offers which are directly made to you from clubs which are at least 2.5x the size of your current club. Use only your own tactics/formations/training schedules. To make it more of a challenge (and if you want to avoid players being tipped), load up the 'fake' player database at the start so you have no idea about any players.

See how far your career takes you :).

Start with Wrexham, Blue Square Premier. That's a challenge.

Remove all foreign nationals out of your squad (including staff) and sign/hire ENGLISH only!!!

Yea i recommend you the same !
I always start a game in romanian second league with the lowest team and i struggle till i reach the first division. Then i stay at the club for 4-5 seasons till i'm an icon in the club's history and then if a job comes for a better team i go. But i never start with the big teams. I play fm for almost 5 years now and have not started a single game with the big teams (real, barca, inter, bayer, chelsea liverpool and so on...) This way it's more fun cause you have a reason to play and to try to get the best out of the team you are managing.

P.s - the most rewarding thing is when you pick up a team from the second division and after 23 season of managing that team you win the Champions Cup :)

good luck ! :-)
