Hey,

I'm having REAL problems turning my sides fortunes around on this year's game. It feels like, if I lose 2 games in a row, no matter what, my team will fall into oblivion and the season falls apart. Morale is just so important. Likewise, get a couple of wins and you can reel off 10 in a row.

I've tried everything in the seasons I've played but can't find the answer. How do you turn the morale around? Any answers appreciated!

Also, while I'm making a thread, any idea on how to stop conceding headers from set pieces? Tried setting the match focus to defending them but to no avail. I literally concede at least one every single game.

Thanks!

Moral: Use everything you have at your disposal
  • New Contracts
  • Player Tutoring
  • Praise form (if applicable)/Reprimand poor performances
  • Reassure your faith in player on a bad run
Pay attention to your Squads Personality and act accordingly in press-conferences.
I.e. An ambitious squad is not going to react well to you saying your not likely to challenge for honors this year.

Defedning Headers at Corners.

I find it comes down to the One-on-ones and that's not something you can prepare for. Think about it, in real football, you don't know exactly where the opposition will be during the corner so you just have to trust your players to deal with it.

Having good defenders with excellent Positioning, Anticipation, Bravery, Aggression, Strength, Balance & Jumping Reach will help.

The "Heading" attribute determiners accuracy so it's not that important to winning the aerial challenge (it only come into play after you're won the ball and headed it). Strength, balance and Jumping reach are what wins you the battle in the air.
