Following the depature of now former Bolton Wanderers boss Owen Coyle, the Board are have been looking to snap up a new manager sharpish and they're have been many people interested in the job, but now it has been confirmed, the new manager of Bolton Wanderers Football Club will be none other than English born Bulgarian Andrei Raev. He used to make his living by playing for Plymouth Argyle but after a horrific injury, his career was cut-short, now the 33-year-old has ventured into managing and has grabbed his first job here at Bolton.

Bolton Wanderers are looking to continue they're long stay here in the English Premier League and the Board thought that Mr. Raev was the perfect man for the job. Bolton Wanderers are predicted to finish 12th this season, in the bottom half of the table. However, Bulgarian Mr. Raev feels that he can achieve much much more from that this season. "I hope we can finish within the top eight, four spaces above what we have been predicted to finish. I know it is a 'long shot' in the media's eyes however that makes a perfect base for us to build on, being the under-dogs, we have nothing to lose.

Key Players:
Jussi Jaaskelainen - top shot stopper.

Gary Cahill - defensive wonder kid.

Matty Taylor - flying left winger.

Kevin Davies - a seasoned stiker.

Transfer Summary
I think we have made some very key signings inside this transfer window, securing a few key players. Jenssen is a class act in central midfield. Hedwiges Madura is calm and defensive and another great players for the amount of money we payed. Lacina Traore has been tipped as a wonderkid and to be the next Didier Drogba at the tender age of 19. Razvan Rat has attracted alot of attention from English clubs including giants Arsenal and we are happy we may be able to sign him. Sergi is just one for the future. He looks like a good player and will develop as we move on.

Mustapha Riga and Ricardo Gardner were not doing much for us, so we thought we'd be better off letting them leave the team. We gained a bit of money from it and profited as we managed to squeeze £5,500,000. A good bit of business right there in my opinion.

Pre-Season Fixtures
Bolton 1 - 0 Linfield (A)
Cahill
Bolton 1 - 0 Middlesborough
Davies
Bolton 4 - 0 Ballymena Utd
Davies (2) Maduro Elmander
Bolton 4 - 1 Kilmarnock
Davis Davies Lee Chung Young (2)
Bolton 1 - 2 Elche
Davies
Bolton 2 - 0 Wuhan
Yttegard Jenssen Davies

A decent pre-season overall from the lads in my opinion. We just need to go into the premiership feeling ready and up for it and get those 40 key points all managers want and then we can push on and see if we can get into the top half.

English Premier League Results

Bolton 3 - 0 Sunderland (A)
Lee Chung-Yong, Wilshere, OG.

Thoughts:
A fantastic start to the season. Beating a strong team away from home, three goals to nil and making it emphatic. A good goal from Wilshere sealed the victory here and I don't have to wait for my first three points as the Bolton Manager. Well played boys!

Bolton 3 - 1 Hull (H)
Davies (2) Lee Chung-Yong

Thoughts:
Another fantastic three points at the Reebok as we put another three past Hull. Davies was in clincal form hitting the back of the net twice for the Wanderers and Lee Chung-Yong continues to be a handful on the right hand-side. 6 points out of 6 here.

Bolton 3 - 1 Portsmouth (A)
Davies, Lee Chung-Yong, Maduro

Thoughts:
I don't know about relegation candidates, this is the form of a title challenger, Bolton are playing superbly well in recent weeks and put three past Pompey as well. Davies and Lee Chung-Yong again getting on the scoresheet. Well played lads.

English League Cup (2nd Round)

Bolton 2 - 1 Barnsley (H)
Davies (2)

Thoughts:
Pretty comfortable as we sail through to the next round with relative ease. Two goals from Mr. Bolton himself Kevin Davies sent us through to the third round, a good cup run would be good for us. Lets hope we can continue our unbeaten run in any competition.

Monthly Summary (August)

A fantastic month for us. We picked up nine points out on nine and won to get through to the third round of the League Cup. Next month includes Tottenham, Chelsea, Man Utd, and Liverpool so we needed this months points, hopefully we can go to there places and try and get a draw or more but we've got to keep it tight at the back and keep scoring these goals.

Player Of The Month:
Kevin Davies (5 in 4)

1271407917-Kevin_Davies.jpg

Great start to the new season by Bolton Skipper Kevin Davies, he couldn't have wished for a better start as he nets 5 goals in four games. With an average rating of 8.27, he has been outstanding in recent weeks and has really stepped up his game this season and Bolton's new additions have followed by example and are also playing well. But Player Of the Month for August is Kevin Davies.

Good signing in Traore and some great results keep it up.

£3 Million for Lacina Traore? Surely you've over paid there...
I got him for £850k on my Birmingham save.
What database are you on?

10.3, it's like additional fee's, that is how much they wanted for him. Class player though.

September Update

We came into September really wanting to get some more points on the board and continue our amazing start to the season, however we knew this was extremely difficult as we came up against three of the most dominant forces in English Football to date, Liverpool, Manchester United and Chelsea. With Kevin Davies and Gary Cahill in amazing form, I can see us getting maybe 2 or 3 points out of the three games, who knows. Let's hope we can put a string of results together.

English Premier League

Bolton 2 - 1 Manchested United [H]
Davies, Cahill

Thoughts: Couldn't be more happy, I'm absolutely over the moon with this result. A game we thought that we would take nothing from, we take three points from. Davies with a smashing goal and a bullet header from Cahill completed the come-back and put us in the lead and we managed to hold onto it. Well played.

Bolton 4 - 3 Birmingham [A]
Cahill, Davies (2), Lee Chung-Yong

Thoughts: Another good three points, to come to St. Andrews and win is a good achievement. It was also more comfortable than the result would suggest, 4 - 1 at half time, we were cruising but then they came back in the second half but we weren't worried to be honest.

Bolton 1 - 2 Liverpool [H]
Cahill

Thoughts: Slightly unhappy as we could have maybe got something out of this but Liverpool have been in top, top form as of late so there's not a chance missed here. Lets just pick ourselves up and continue playing our football.

Bolton 0 - 1 Chelsea [A]
N/A

Thoughts: We weren't amazing today but I genuinely feel we deserve at least a point from this game. A long ball caught us out and we're usually very good at defending those type of balls but never mind. We never expected to get anything from Chelsea.

English League Cup 3rd Round
Bolton 3 - 2 Leicester
Davies, Lee Chung-Yong (2)

Thoughts: Amazing in the sense we go through to the next round, bad in the sense we conceded two goals from sloppy errors at the back. If we can clear these up, we may be able to go extremely far in the competition.

Young Player Of The Month:
1: Micheal Mancienne
2: Lee Chung-Yong
3: Jack Collison

Player Of The Month (September): Lee Chung-Yong

Despite dropping quite a few points last month, we were ready to bounce back and continue our good start to the season, our first objective was to get to 40 points and every game that comes we are getting closer and closer. We need to hope that we can continue to hit the back of the net.

English Premier League
Bolton 2 - 1 Tottenham [H]
Maduro, Davies

Thoughts:
A great result here against a strong team in Tottenham Hostpur, Luka Modric and Aaron Lennon constantly threatened and they're goal came through a mistake from rookie right back Sam Ricketts which let Lennon in but overall a great performance. Two good goals from Maduro and Davies and another three points.

Bolton 2 - 0 Burnley
Davies, Cahill

Thoughts:
Again, we pick up another amazing three points and Kevin Davies, the club captain and vice-captain Gary Cahill continue to pound in the goals and giving us points galore. We need to keep this run up as we are fast approaching 40 points and climbing the table rapidly.

Bolton 3 - 2 West Ham
Yttergard Jenssen, Lee Chung-Yong, Wilshere

Thoughts:
We got the three points by the skin of our teeth, 2 - 1 and then we got a penalty, which Wilshere converted to make it 3 - 1 and we thought we were cruising, however at home an all, West Ham knew they still had a chance and got one back through Carlton Cole, we quickly changed to contain them but in the last minute, Lee Chung-Yong gave them a penalty kick which Jaaskelainen bravely saved and kept us in it.

League Cup 4th Round
Bolton 2 - 3 Liverpool
Wilshere, Lee Chung-Yong

Thoughts:
Ahead for a while but suddenly Kuyt turned into an exact clone of Torres except being better than him. "/ FM is so unrealistic at times.

Young Player Of The Month:
1: Jack Rodwell
2: Michael Mancienne
3: Ruben Yttergard Jenssen

Manager Of The Month:
1:Rafa Benitez
2: Arsene Wenger
3: Andrei Raev

Player Of The Month: Ruben Yttergard Jenssen.

Cheers guys.

Bolton Vs. Manchester Ciy

Manchester-City-vs-Bolton-Wanderers.jpg

Bolton currently sit 6th while Money Bags City sit 7th, in a real european play-off clash. A very big game for both these teams as they both push for a european spot. It should be a tense encounter, Raev and Mancini will both be really looking to win this match of mammoth preportions.

1' Lacina Traore is layed in by Wilshere, it's a thundering shot, good save, however Traore was offside anyway. Good attacking start by Bolton.

24' Long ball from Jaaskelainen from a freekick, headered on by Kevin Davies forces a great save from Shay Given, the rebound falls to Traore who forces a corner. Pushing it now, Man City have created nothing.

25' The corner amounts to nothing and results in a freekick from Man City just inside they're own half. A quick one from Toure gives it to Barry, who takes a look at his options picking a through-ball to Tevez, who runs in on goal and lets off a thunderbolt which left the hands on Jussi Jaaskelainen stinging, good save.

40' Gretar Steinsson picks it up just inside the Man City half and plays a beautiful ball into Kevin Davies, he takes a look round picking out Lee Chung-Yong making a run down the wing, he takes a look cutting it back to Jack Wilshere, who cuts inside onto his left-foot, he lets an ambitious one fly.. it beats the keeper, GOAL!! Jack Wilshere scores a screamer as it ripples the back of the net. The Reebok bursts into excitement and joy as his team mates run to hug they're team-mate. 1 - 0 Bolton!

45' Half Time, Bolton Wanderers lead through a screamer from Jack Wilshere who fired it into the top corner, hitting the angle on the way in. Bolton 1 - 0 Man City.

64' Good move from the goalkick and Maduro picks it up on the half-way line, he takes a look round and manages to find Yttergard Jennsen's feet, he looks for options and spots a darting run from top goalscorer Kevin Davies, a perfectly weighted ball is slid through to Davies, who's now one on one with Shay Given! He takes one look and fires one, as the whole ground look on in expectation, the keeper can't get to it and it ripples the back of the net. GOAL! Kevin Davies makes it 2 - 0 with a fantastic goal! Man City are disgusted, they seem to think it's offside but the referee and assistant are having none of it. The goal stands!

78' Yttergard Jennsen gets it around the box, men supporting him left and right and support through the centre, he picks the middle option that gets Traore clean through, he takes one look and bang smashes it, hitting the back of the net! 3 - 0! NO! Ruled out, Traore had wondered offside, Bolton are furious but it stays 2 - 0.

90' The full time whistle blows and Manchester City lose to Bolton here at the Reebok, a fantastic game from Manchester City who will be delighted by the way they performed!

Man Of The Match: Gary Cahill
Andrei Raev - "Gary was fantastic today, he won his key battle with Adebayor and Tevez and never looked unsure. He was amazing and people still question why Manchester United are after the lad, superb performance by Cahill!"

Monthly Update (November)

We looked to continue are great form and continue to stretch our unbeaten streak and keep up with the top 4 or 5. With 12 points on offer this month we were hoping of taking our fair share and continueing our assault on 6th. Some very hard places to go and some hard matches.

Bolton 2 - 2 Wolves [H]
Cahill, Lee Chung-Yong
Thoughts:
I wasn't very happy with this result, as I thought with recent form we should have won a home game against struggling Wolves however, a point is better than none so we will take it and continue to try to win games. However, I'm disapointed.

Bolton 2 - 2 Wigan [A]
Cahill, Davies
Thoughts:
Again, not very happy as we didn't capitalise on a win we should have got, however another away point and continue our unbeaten run but we should be winning matches against Wigan. We've got to stop leaking goals though.

Bolton 2 - 0 Manchester City [H]
Wilshere, Davies
Thoughts:
A fantastic three-points against very close rivals in a race for the two europa league spots and we needed a win to re-ignite our onslaught on europe. We did very well as a 25 yard screamer from Wilshere and a clinical finish from Davies gave us the three points.

Bolton 0 - 0 Aston Villa [A]
N/A
Thoughts:
A good point against a good Aston Villa side however, I think we should have capitalised on the sending off of James Milner early in the game however, Kevin Davies was running clean through and in his red-hot form would have scored.

Monthly Form:
Overall a decent month, not amazing, not rubbish but a steady form. Continueing our domination and living up to the name 'Draw Masters', we continue to press for a Europa League spot and hopefully come the end of the season we will be able to get it.

updating soon.
