Hi guys, new poster here. Been reading the forums for a while though.

Just wanted to know how to get the best out of Balanta? I'm managing wolves and after back to back promotions I've just been promoted to the Premier League so I need him in the best of form. I actually managed to sign Balanta last season in the Championship and even then after playing 30+ games he only managed to finish with an average rating of 6.84.

A little guidance would be great. Cheers!

I play him as a Covering Central Defender.. seems to work well enough, but nothing special really (31 appearances in EPL, 7.05 rating).

My Balanta is sitting on 18 anticipation at the moment and he's still just 22, so that role is great for him. Plus, he's actually quite fast, so use him that way.

He's intelligent, fast, good defender and relatively good in air. He could play anything you want. I would suggest to play him as central defender - cover or just give him time to adopt. He doesn't have best hidden attributes, so he might need some time. Cheers.

I don't think he means the CB one mate, Angelo Balanta is an English Winger that plays for QPR.

No I am referring to the CB Balanta.

Thanks for for your feedback guys. I think I'm going to persevere with him at CD and see how he goes from there.
