Getting the best out of 'big strikers'

Hi all,

does anyone have any useful tips on how to get the best out of the 'bigger' strikers on the game, especially in the higher divisions. ???

i'm very reluctant to spend large amounts of money when i have the likes of drogba in my team, but sometimes struggle to get the best out of them.

play them as target men or advanced forwards, i would also have a striker partner for him with good pace , technique and finishing with poacher role .The formation you're using is also an important factor, and the midfileders/wingers supporting him

Use some direct passing in your team, this will get your players to effectviely lob the ball to him, short passing will aim to keep the ball on the ground and nullify a large amount of the effecy a target man will have, best combination ive found,
pace forwar Deep Lying Forward (Attack)

and in advanced options, use the DLF as a target man to get the best of both.
