Getting the best out of cristiano Ronaldo?

I bought Ronaldo with my united team for 119m in my third season and I want to get the very best out of him. I play 4-5-1 and my usual line up looks like this: GK: Akinfeev, RB:rafael, CB:vidic, CB:evans, LB:evra, CDM: De Rossi, CM:Hamsik, CM:fletcher, LW: Hulk, ST: Rooney, RW: Ronaldo. My bench:Nani, lukaku, Ferdinand, Mario Gomez, Hernandez, smalling, Henderson, and Anderson. So do you have any ideas of how I could get the best out of Ronaldo and my team? Eg. Player roles, recommend signings, or the best formation that fits my players? Please reply, Kduzza.

try inside forward or advanced playmaker on the wing see how that does but usually i think he does best complete forward upfront but then rooneys too good to be kicked out of the team so maybe change your formation to a 4-3-3 with hulk going upfront with ronaldo then maybe have hulk as a poacher rooney trequarista and ronaldo complete forward and then the same midfield good luck

Swap Hulk to the right, and Ronaldo on the left. Both as inside froward attack, and put Rooney to deeplying forward - support, should get plenty of goals from them all. Maybe make Ronaldo target man to feet as well. Have De Rossi and Hamsik as your deeplying and advanced play makers, and they should get a great supply to work with as well

I second what adman278 said. Switch to a 4-3-3. Hulk and Hernandez can switch with each other as a poacher. Both Rooney and Ronaldo can play trequarista or complete forward, so put them as you prefer, and one of them should drop deep, probably the one playing trequarista. Allow for a lot of creativity for Rooney and Ronaldo and for them to swap positions.

i got great results from him at madrid.. had him RAM inside forward.. seemed to score for fun. have him on all freekicks his record was unbeleivable!

Ronaldo is a poor treq and complete forward, since both of those roles need you to create chanes, whereas Ronaldo is more of a goal scorer

Thanks for the help, I'm going to swap hulk and Ronaldo, then put them both as inside fowards. then have Rooney as deep lying foward as someone suggested.
