Hi.

I recently quit my old job to see if I couldn't get a better one. Turns out, I cant, bummer!
Now this wouldnt be a problem if it weren't for the fact that I had saved the game after I quit. Is there any way for me to... change something within the game? I now it is possible by using some for of editor in PCM 09

I think you can
add a new manager as your old team then retire him instantly.
If you have fmrte go on club relations and make it so they dont hate you
then I think you can apply

add new manager but then obviously you will be starting your career all over again, what you have achieved before with the club and players will mean squat...

Add a manager at a club you want to manage, retire then apply with your original user.

But they have already hired someone else. What I meant is; can you edit the saved game to put yourself in a different job. For example to edit the save and put myself in the job as a manager. I know this can be done in PCM 09, but I was wondering if it is possible in FM?

Edit: by the way, I was not fired, I just refused a new contract. In two years I won the league one time and the national cup twice.

have u saved the game if not quit and re enter ? :) then you'll still have a job ? :)

i think the solution was only adding a new manager to your old team. than retire, so you can apply for that job once again.

Hmm... okey, looks like there is no way for me to get that job back.
I'm applying for a job with Stoke who are close to being relegated, but I guess I could save them.

By the way, when a club has hired an temporary manager can't you apply for the job? Because Birmingham doesnt have a "real" manager and it's a job which would suit me just perfect!

The logical thing to do would have been to save before quitting. Kinda stupid not doing that if you ask me.

Okey, people, read the first post in this text, 'key?

Let me break it down:
- Quit job
- Saved AFTER I had quit the aforementioned job
- Couldn't get new job

I'm meerly pointing out it was rather silly of you to not save before quitting.

Doesn't matter now, I just signed a contract with Sheffield United. They are struggling in The Championship so I'll try to save them ;) Just need to get the tactic working
