So I've been a member of this site for some time now and i've been an avid reader of some of the stories here, so i decided to give this a try. For my first story, to not completely embarass myself i decided to go with a Strong team and that is AS Roma

My Goals with this save are

1. Win the Serie A within 2 seasons
2. Win the Champions League within 3 Seasons
3. Finally figure out tactics in this game because i've been sucking lol

Squad, Transfers and Pre-Season Games

The Board want me to qualify to Champions League and they expect me to get to the first Knockout Round of the Champions League.

I have been given an 8.25Million Euros transfer Budget

Roma has a very strong squad, even though a couple of positions that i'd like to improve. Both Full-Back positions and the goalkeeper. I have been blessed by an extremely talented midfield which i am looking to exploit

I didn't have a lot of money for transfers so i decided to go after a Goalkeeper. Asmir Begovic was my first choice and i got a reasonable price but in the contract negotiations his Agent was a complete **** and demanded 3 million for himself which made the Transfer undoable so i went after Sirigu who was pretty cheap. and i ended up spending most of the transfer budget on him.

Results were not to bad but not to impressive either. i'm still tweaking the tactic.

even though i was a 4th seed i managed to get an acessible group which i'm hoping to get through and with a bit of luck i might get first and avoid the sharks on the knockout rounds

For the people reading this anykind of constructive criticism is welcome. From the obvious layout improvements that i could make that would make reading this more enjoyable to english ramatical errors (I'm french). Extra text that i could/should be writing so it won't have a bland feel.

August and September. Start of the Serie A!!

So after i rather dull Pre-season it was finally great to get competitive matches going.

A pretty good way to start the league. We dominated the match. Disapointed with the 2 goals conceded though

Another dominating performance, but again tainted by the fact that we couldn't keep a clean sheet, which is something that really annoys me

Another dominating performance but this time we didn't manage to get the win. Opposition set-pieces were too strong for me and it's not the first time i've conceded from set-pieces. Something must be done!

Sigh..... Between missed chances and conceding from set-pieces i don't know what is frustrating me more. Second draw in a row and again i thought we deserved more than this.

First loss of the season after being 2-0 Up and agressively telling my players to concentrate and to tighten up we managed to let Tevez score a hat-trick on us. Pretty even game overall

It was good to see my players finally finish their chances.. Still haven't managed to keep a clean sheet. Something must be tweaked in the tactics. But overalll i was pleased with this performance
