Hi, this is my first ever Football Manager story. I'm also relatively new to fm-base, however I have played Football Manager since Football Manager 2008. I love reading these stories, so I thought that i'd attempt one, any feedback will be appreciated, positive or negative. Just to note, I hadn't initially planned to make a story out of this, however it seemed unique enough, and i'm enjoying it, so now it is a story. This is why it's one season in. Right, onto the story...

Yes, that is quite a lot of targets, but they're definitely achievable

Clearly, Glacis Utd are not the best team in the world... Their amateur status shows just how poor they are. This applies to the whole league to be honest.

Again, this just goes to show the poor nature of the team. However, that's why I took over, potential European powerhouses in years to come?

I was pleasantly surprised when I seen this. 17 Gibraltarian Premier Divisions?!?! When I was first employed by Glacis Utd, they were predicted 6th out of 8 teams, seemingly Glacis Utd have had quite a fall from grace in recent years.

I was bitterly disappointed with our finish in the league, despite initially being predicted to finish 6th, we found ourselves top of the league on several occasions, and in with a real shout of Champions League qualification. We averaged two goals a game, and our attack was destroying the sub par teams in this league.

As you can see, we suffered a few blips and the 4-4 draw with College Cosmos ultimately cost us the league. I was hoping for some impressive regens in the next youth intake (at least for this level, I wasn't expecting any fireworks).

This was they only player worth taking note of in the whole intake, disappointing. However i'm predicting big things from this guy. His 10 dribbling, 10 passing, 16 flair and 17 determination should aid his cause. Even at 18, he is one of the top players in the league.

This tactic was very effective at attacking quickly whilst at the same time, staying strong in defence. For the two games that Alvarez played, he provided two assists, showing his ability. I'm hoping that he will flourish and be a top player for us, for years to come.
To be expected in the next update:
Mid season 2 update,
Fixture list for the upcoming season and tactics
