Walter new director of the club !
The Sensational news coming from ibrox today is that Walter Smith will not be the man in charge next year . The Ranger's "hero" will be moving up-stairs to one of the director's of the club.
The announcement was made public in a brief statement on the official Rangers website:
We can offically tell all Glasgow Rangers fans that Walter Smith will be end his days as director of the club , this means that Walter will not be manager next year and he has came out with a statement !
I have been with rangers for so long now i could walk away from manager but i could never be without This club. So Martin offered me a job along with himself and other has one of the director's of the club. i have accepted that offer and i wouldnt have if i didnt leave a solid team to compete in the future maybe without money.

Sky Sports News Sources today understand that after two weeks of searching for a high profile manager the Rangers board have taken AllyMcCoist has to take the team forward . The Rangers Fans said "They are delighted with this appointment and getting a scottish , Rangers manager in is the best better than an expirence , european manager in that doesnt know about the rivalness between Celtic & Rangers.

They have a fierce rivarly with Celtic , Having enjoyed there greatest spell of success this decade . Gers are undoubtedly one of the most succesful clubs in scotland . Boasting a proud total of 127 competions wins . Current Chairman is Alistair Johnston .

AllyMcCoist : After a lot of discussions with the board since my appointment we have both came to the decision that the club should be aiming to winning the league. The board have backed my ambitions by giving me a transfer kitty of 5 Million to strengthen the squad after a lot of player leaving the club in the summer . Kris Boyd , Kevin thomson , Nacho Novo , Da Marcus Beasley & Danny Wilson .
After Last year winning the title etc... We have lost a lot of player as said above around about 5 people .. and Walter Smith brought in 3 players before he left. I think we need cover at Lb and maybe on the wing after Sasa Papac , Steven Davis , Kenny Miller & Madjid Bougherra have all been linked with several clubs i need to re think my options .
I will be playing a 4-4-2 to start of with in the league and start with a 4-5-1 in europe away games.. With Davis beening the man we will need to work around again this year .
I have also not disrupt the team's morale and like last year Davie Weir will be the expirenced captain once again. Lee McCulloch will be the vice captain this year.

Most of the clubs friendlies had been set up prior to us getting ready for the season and european football once again .
We had a very could workout this pre-season winning 4 out of 6 .. We lost again Dortmound and Man City this pre-season and could have won both if we player better to be honest .
There where a couple of players that impressed me during pre-season including Striker James Beattie who had a great pre-season scoring 5 out of 4, Northern Irish midfielder Davis once again impressing and last of all the young talented winger John Fleck and Jordan mc millin have bright future's ahead.

Sasa Papac is away to Fc Porto in a deal worth 3,5 mill ona 3 year contract . We catched up with Sasa Papac and this is what he had two say
papac : I have done myself proud since i have been in scotland working with a team has class of Glasgow Rangers i thank Walter Smith for giving me another try after the paul le guen sagger. Porto is a new chapter in my life for me and my family i have achived everything with Glagow Rangers i think.

With Sasa Papac left it has left Ally McCoist troubles on the left side of defence . McCoist has signed Paul Hanlon from Hibs for around 1.8 mill on a 4 year 5,200 per week. He can also play in the heart of defence .
This is what the rangers fans like to see .
Lee Wallace has signed for Rangers for a fee beliveved around 3.4 million pounds and that means that Wallace becomes McCoist 2nd signing this season.
