West Bromwich Albion have appointed ex Scotland international Daza Sneddon as their new manager hours after Roberto Di Matteo resigned after only 8 days in the job.Sneddon, who spent his whole career at his boyhood hero's Motherwell, said that he is deleighted to be at the Hawthornes just weeks after getting his coaching badge.

My story will be something like a diary where I talk and tell you whats happening instead of reports.

''As I walked into the stadium the chairman greeted me and took me to his office.I was a bit nervy but after about 10 minuted talking to him I was up and raring to go.He told me he was giving me 2.3m to spend but he expected promotion.I was happy with that.I have a good bunch of players here and the squad wont need a lot done with it.My main aim is to get an assistand manager after I sacked Keith Downing.I will play a few friendlys and see how my team does then take it from their.'''

Is that a purposeful title fail? :S

Good luck anyway.

''I went to my first press conference today to be unveiled as the new boss.I sat their with my whole body shaking nervous of what might be asked but after the first question I was feeling rather confident. The question that I most felt strongly about was someone from ''The League Paper'' asked who Robert Koren was going to.I said that I had no request or offer for Robert and as far as I'm concerned he is my player and a key one at that. Also I appointed Peter Houston as my new assistant manager and Steve Gatting as my first team coach.''

''In my first friendy match we beat Dumfermline 2-1 in what was a end to end game.I was really happy with the reault in what kicked off my reign at The Hawthornes. After the match Stoke City cam in with a 3m bid for my main defender Jonas Olsson and after a while considering it I accepted it knowing that the money would help bring in new players. After my second friendly I was scocked and disgusted with my team after we got beat 1-0 off Exeter.I told them that we wouldn't win throphies playing like a bunch of sunday league players. After the friendly I signed Johann Vogel on a free to help out with the youngsters. He has loads of experience and my youth stars could do with some.In my third friendly my team played for their lives and astonishinly beat Arsenal 4-2 at home.I took notes and decided which areas to improve on so after the match I signe two wonderkids from Scotland. The first being Mark Reyonld from Motherwell for 1.8m and the second being Danny Wilson from Rangers for 800k.Mark will be my number one left back and Danny might be going out on loan for experience. My last friendly was against West Ham and I was just looking for my team to relax and play some nice, attractive football. but sadly it didnt happen and I got beat 2-0.Also Danny Wilson has signed on loan for 6 months to Notts County.
