Goal average?

I am currently playing stalybridge in the BSN. My strikers need a lot of chances to score and that got me thinking. What is considered to be a normal goal average per game for a promotion canidate? Mine is 1.8 now but they waste chances on a lvl that even Torres would consider much

i am Vauxhall, top of the league after 27 games. out of 38 games in all competitions i have a 1.6 goal a game. however i agree, players waste chances to often, my striker missed from the 6 yard box - wide!
