FM 2010: What Do You Want To See?

Some of the things I really want them to do are...
- A more up to date and user friendly skin. They need to get rid of the current clunky and database style skin set up. A whole revamp is needed.
- Set up an easier tactic system for beginners. Like seen on PES 2009 where you can choose a few settings and it creates a tactic suited to your needs.

Totally agree with both. An option to have a dark skin would be nice, the white skin isn't too kind on the eyes
To be able to design your own stadium, like in LMA manager.
Also to be able to sign your own sponsor for kits and stuff? Mabe to be able to change the colour of your away kit every other season.
And of course, make the graphics better in 3D view each year

totally agree with the skin thing some of the ones i`ve downloaded on here are awsome don`t see why these people aren`t already working for si as there very talanted i`m currently useing the klasa one which is very modern and easy to use there are many others which are just as good! the orignal is very old and dull! would request an instant save so as soon as a match has finshed it saves that way it would stop that temption to restart the game in finals!Some of the things I really want them to do are...

I think it would be really good if when you were in a press conference, that if your players (some of them) where there with you, and they responded to certain questions like Do you think you're at the top of your game? player : no...

i would like to see non repetative press conferences, i just end up sending assistant all the time now, more interaction between you and the board, for instance like on the old cm's the chairman used to say he wants to see this player at the club, well fm could adapt that and make it into something more, being able to do something with the money you earn from managing, also i would like to see a page entiled tabloids, where the news appears to you in the form of a newspaper, i just think most managers around the world read the papers and would be good if i could do something similar and react to it, like be interviewed by the paper if something is going on at the club, unsettlement, transfers so on.. i guess im just looking for the total mangerial expierience.

like it... but you know what will happen, the same as where fm can't get pictures of the premiership players in england, and will end up just having blank faces for those teams and having to download some

That's true. It should be a feature that can be enabled and disabled from the preferences menu so that if a user doesn't have many faces then they can use an alternative interface.
But there are packs of over 44,000 of faces in that style so it shouldn't be hard to download all the faces you need for it.

yeh and we always have the base for downloads so sorted, i do like how it looks though, the tactics screens seem to be getting worse, on fm08 your could have the sort of curled lines, which was far better now you can only play with straight lines... i dont think it makes any difference but just looks horrible, ah speaking of tactics, id like much more positions to be able to place my player, you know how like on lma you can grab the player and just move him anywhere on the pitch, well maybe with fm you can press something like ctrl then click on the player, and be able to freely move him with the arrow keys..

2. being able to choose your kit sponsor then seeing the sponsor on your kit in the club info screen, be they real sponsors or not, even though we can download kits, so sick of having just the shape of a shirt with random designs and like no badge or anything.
3. also agree with the idea of players being in press conferences, especially when they are new signings, like player unveiling or whatever, say if a player is moving to real madrid and being given the number 5, i want the press to ask what the player thinks about being given zidane's number or something.
4. the tactics screen is a nice idea with the faces but like mentioned by leeumoconnor, SI won't be able to get the player faces for some and we'll end up just having blank grey head shapes.

i like number 2. like sean said though, there will always be downloads to feel the blank faces anyway and will look better the SI's ones

ive got to say i dont like the idea of being able to design the stadium, because to be honest, its not the managers job, maybe a few ideas can be put forward to the manager of what he likes out of a few options, but designing it yourself is just silly, also the games that let you do that never take realistic fianances into account, if you had this feature on fm, your club would end up in so much debt
ye its not the managers job but it would make the game alot better
I would like to see when starting a game what the boardroom think about the club how they feel about the ambitions where they want you to be in 5 years time what resources are they planning to release to you to achieve there ambitions.
Like to see more responsive tactical changes during matches which can be done in a few seconds for maximum effectiveness.
