Goalkeeper and winger for Southampton, 2nd season.

Hi guys first post on here.

just reached the Europa league after my first season, and looking to improve my goalkeeper and get a promising young winger in as back up or to replace Vitinho and Ince.

I have 21 million to spend, possibly upto 30 by the time I have shifted the dead wood. I don't want to get Valdes as his wage demands are ridiculous and I have two players with match highest earner clauses so he is out of my reach.

Any advice is much appreciated.

For a GK, maybe Francesco Bardi or Jeronimo Rulli. Although I'm not sure if Rulli can get a WP just yet. Also, Timo Horn, or in some cases, Marc Andre ter-Stegen.
 
Thanks guys. What rating will they have at this point of their careers?
 
I tried to get Timo Horn for my Celtic team and my scout rated him 4 1/2 stars maybe 5 and I have Forster who is a decent rated goalkeeper. He is also a model professional which is helpful in terms of tutoring when he is older. His buyout is ?3.8million.

Andre Hahn I have and he is 4 stars for me and he is extremely quick and physically. In my second season with Celtic he has about 17/18 goals from Right Midfield as in RM not RW so that is pretty impressive considering its a deeper role.His buyout is only ?2.1million.

Also highly recommend buying Humam Tariq if he is in your game. Iraqi Messi for me.

Thanks mick I will take a look at them when I get home from work tonight.
I only use my laptop so I don't have a large database - but the Iraqi messi? That's a bold statement haha!
 
I will make a thread about him when I get home. He is special. My database is large with maybe 150,000 players but I don't have the leagues on that he is in nor do I have anybody else in his league so he may be in it.

Signed Andre Hahn for QPR in first season, his CA is "Good Premier League player"
 
Julian Brandt is available on a free at the end of the first season. I believe Mattia Perrin ( GK-Genoa) has a contract that runs out in June 2014 also. Ter Stegen could also be available for under 10 million but whether he'd be willing to come to the Saints is another matter. Afellay and Cuenca (Barca) would probably be available on the cheap as well in season 2 with both of them not having a future at Barca.
 
Cuenca available to sign on a free half way through season 1 on my chelsea save. Barca terminate his contract.
