Hi guys!

In my current game I am in 2017 and playing as Bayern. Not I got something on my mind, should I try to find a smaller club to build on sooner or later? Have you ever done that? Thanks for your feedback ;)

Sure smaller club to manage are always fun and challenging. I once managed Tottenham and won the champions league couple of times and got bored of it so i decided to manage, a team in English League 2 and was fun :)

What's it like being such a reputable coach and then taking a really small club?

Can you still get pretty good players based on your own reputation?

Erm i'm not quite sure, i don't think it will affect it and it depends on your clubs reputation and facilities.

Manager reputation plays a big part in whether players want to sign for you! If you have a good reputation, maybe 5% more players would want to sign for you , but it's not like you can get world class players at level 2. Eg. If you took up A League 2 club, then mostly you can attract talents from League 2 and League 1. Most championship players would not want to play in league 2. But if you'r a manager of great repute, then some Championship players, who are not happy at their clubs and want more first team football , may come and sign for your League 2 side, because they respect you and think you have what it takes.

I was manager of Chelsea for 5 years and I won the League 4 times, Champions League 2 times and 2 or 3 Community Shields! I was getting bored of always winning so I resigned as manager and I applied for a job at Southampton as they were bottom om the Championship and I got the job, 3 years later I am still there and I'm trying to break into the top 6 of the Premier League. Best decission I have ever made, Neymar joined me again from Chelsea! :)

was managing someone i think it was real and i had about 120mill to spend. After about 4 years i got fed up and wanted a new challenge, i went to the available jobs and saw a league 2 team i think it was bury, i applied and got offered the job.. i delayed for a week and bidded on a transfer-listed player of bury 120mill! i ended up buying him and went to manage bury 3 days later with a massive 40mill to spend

I think I'll go to a big club after my contract in Bayern expires and thereafter go to a smaller club. Probably something in the championsship. :)

was thinking about doing the same with my city save, the only thing is ive had rory delap as my *** man since my bristol days ages ago , doubt he'd follow me and i couldnt bare to be without him :(

I managed Spurs for 5 years, winning the league in my last 3 seasons. I then wanted a new challenge so am now managing Rotherham in the NPower 2 League. I'm 3 quarters of the season through but am still struggling and have not found it all that fun. I think I will get them into the promotion playoffs, but then it's in the hands of the gods. I wouldn't be surprised if I lost in the playoff final! I am looking forward to seeing if I can get them promoted though. It's been quite challenging, so would be very rewarding if I do.

In my opinion, this is cheating! whats the point of going to manage a team in league 2 when you give them all that money? part of the challenge is to improve them on your own, not using handouts from a team you have just left.

what a clown, cant manage it with minimal funds can we?

It's more fun going to a smaller team albeit frustrating. I'm playing Newcastle and I love the uncertainty and worry about being able to challenge the champion near the end of the season.

My last season was amazing. I was 3rd place with Arsenal First, Man U second before my last game of the season. Man U had a match with Man City and lost 3-0. I ended up runner-up to Arsenal with 1 point difference T.T

This season looks even better, seems like the top 6 in the table all have a run for the cup.

Im the other way! i have Bath city (glory in black & white) taken them from Non-league to League 1. But with only a wage bill of 30.000 the amazing players i bring in are now getting hen picked by big teams!!.
After four season i have a tiny stadium,no youth academy all my good players get nicked ahhhh time i think to jump ship

it's not cheating lol, but it sucks to tell the truth, i just did it for the **** of it, just an experiment.. but will never do again. I never succeeded at this but would love to see it, going in the L1 or L2 and managing a small club, promoting them into the premiership and getting a tycoon takeover, that would be something
