Good Defensive-Mids/Box-To-Box Mids

I am Arsenal, in the 3rd season I have a higher reputation as I have won both Prems and a Champions League. I am looking for a new DM who's main duty will be defensive, but must also be able to support the attack and recycle possession.
Alternatively, I could buy a good BBM and I'll play Fellaini as the DM instead! (Either way, I may need a new backup BBM as my backup at the moment is Arteta, who is getting on a bit!*

*To go straight into me team, not a youngster that won't be good enough for a few years (But bare in mind I am in the 3rd season! :D)

Had a scout around for regens, but couldn't find any good DM ones. Found a good BBM but he is from Peru so I had to send him on loan to Dinamo for 2 years to get a work permit (1 season left)

Kara moved to Real.
 
As i am in 2nd season and i have Carrick and Fletcher and a regen, i didn't search many. Have you tried Fernando from Porto?

Too defensive for my liking I am afraid. I already have the other Fernando (Gremio) and Gustavo, but I am sending Gustavo out on loan, and I use Gustavo as either a fast CB or an Anchor Man when I am holding a narrow lead. :)

Jadson, starts at Botafago, would be ideal for either the roles you are suggesting

Unfortunatly he doesn't seem to be on my game :/

I only have the 5 main European leagues loaded as playable, with loads on view only.
 
I have bought M'Vila for £39m, but I still need a backup BBM. Close to selling Gervinho for £30m so I'll have alot of funds left :D ANy suggestions?
 
Vidal if you can prize him away. Sven Bender has been decent for me as a box to box for Dortmund
 
I'm going through this dilemma right now. Don't buy Yann M'Vila, he's really not as good as he was in last years FM. Vidal is a god, i'd highly recommend him, except he can get a bit carried away at times and get sent off. I'm about to sell M'Vila and buy Sven Bender! But there really are a lack of really good DM's in this years FM!

Well it's too late for me, but M'Vila does look to have developed well at Rennais, he has 16 passing and tackling so definitely well balanced :)
The Gervinho deal fell apart 'cos they would only pay £24m for him, and no one will bid for Rim Krul despite alot of interest :/ So at the moment I can't afford an exspensive player ~About £15m max! (Did get Sahin on loan for the season though)
 
Check Romulo from Spartak Moscow. He's 1 of the best midfielders in this game.
 
I use Fellaini for BBM.Guilherme dos Santos Torres is recommended DM. also Ferancesco Cerro look good.
