Good players out of contract and available on a free in the first season??

Hello people, just wondering if any of you FM09 experts had any good players on free transfers because out of contract in first season? As im Newcastle United and have nooo money Help is much appreciated

Im in my first season, looking towards the end was curious if any good players contracts were running up and could get on a free?

Search on the game, on player search, change the filters to contract is expiring or expired.

Bojan will get released by Barca at the end of your first season (God knows why).A class player ,although there will be competition to sign him.

i got bojan and he is pure class and barca try to re sign him after a season very strange, also got podolski on a free i think end of season 2

Well i am at season 2 and Bojan is at Barca and Henry and Eto are subs....
I offered 35 mil and rejected huh
