Had a brilliant season then....total rubbish...Please Help

Hi lads, this is my first post and I really hope you can help me. I have downloaded the tactical theroms 10 and tried to use it. It just seems like its directed at the higher divisions. Hopefully you can give me a little bit of advice.

I started with AFC Telford in the Blue Square South. I had a briliant season and won the league, then I got a huge shock when I got into the Blue Square Premier. I am rock bottom and cannot score!

Is it a case that I really do need a brand new team or does it just need tweaking, I have some really good players but I just cannot win. Really frustrating as I have attempted to set all the tactics up and player roles and duties etc. Still no joy. I aint getting hammered either. Its like 1-0, 2-1.

Please help fellas, just a bit of advice so I dont go off the game as I love it.

okay mate, maybe you strikers arent up for it. or look into changing tactics.

Obviously promotion is a huge step up in class as I found out when I went from League 1 to League 2 with Torquay, I won League 2 with ease but my 1st season in League 1 I finished 20th and just survived.

The best advice I could give you is find a formation your team seems to play well in and stick to it. Also you could try getting in better free transfers or loan siginings in the transfer windows.

Also don't forget to listen to your scout reports on opposition and your asst managers feedback during games.

I actually won my second game of the season last night! Only had time for 1 match as we had some folks over for take away. The only thing that I changed was my pre-match team talk, I told 10 players I had faith in them and 1 to continue where he left off. Won 3-1 and the team played really well! The power of a team talk, had all player on over 7.9 for rating. They obviously needed motivating!

try wolfsong team talk, amazingly good ...
just used it on my 3rd season with getafe ... and the team was playing very solid at every position ...
eventough not much addition to my team ... ^^)
