Hi all I have working on this tactic for a while , I have just finished a full season with liverpool and will soon be testing on a lower league team.
My results were good for a first season, winning FA cup and league cup.
Finished in 5th in league scoring a good 94 goals but conceded 65.
my 3 main strikers goals Balotelli - 35 , Lambert - 30, Sturridge - 26. With balotelli also getting the most assists in the league.
This formation is about Control keeping the ball and scoring as many goals as you can, Im not going to say it's a unbeatable Tactic that your never going to lose, But i think its a good base for you to start with and build on.

the formation is made up from -

3 central Defenders 2 playing LD while the middle one BPD pushes up more.
2 central midfielders 1 is an out and out midfielder running around the other a DLP in a def role.
2 WM in attack making trouble getting forward and getting ball into box.
3 Forwards are key 2 are AF attacking hard and quick while the other one is a DLF sitting just behind .

this is main formation above above. this is the tweak i made to help let in less goals above.
(dropping DLP back and changing to BWM instead thats it)

Im not uploading my tactic to be slagged of or told it's **** if you do have any helpful input great always good to here.

UPDATE :- After some seasons with this tactic i have decided it leaks to many goals and doesn't work great with lower league teams so i have come up with HADES REBOOT I have so far only used it with the german 2nd division team Munchen Lions and i have won the league .

im a mad liverpool fan so always glad to find tactics for them
but what do you mean by match setup left to assistant manager ?

You could try to drop the wingers to wingbacks (a bit boring to use 5 defenders but still)
and drop one of the STs to a cam.

This 532/352 classic is very powerful in FM I think although I didnt create a great one in this years FM

UPDATE - As i said i would test this out on a lower team i've decided to go low so im Basingstoke town, I'm not doing to bad scoring goals and sitting in 6th after 20 games , The problem im finding is lack of players and fitness also letting in 2 many goals . So to help with this i have moved the DLP back and changed into a BWM this seems to have cut out alot of goals.
I will post full results when i have finished the season.
 
Now i've tested a season with liverpool and basingstoke i'm going to throw it at one of the biggest clubs in the world Barcelona i know what your going to say but im interested to see how many goals and points i can get with them as with both my other tests both teams scored very well and ended in good positions .
 
im guessing as the wingers are set to wide midfielders would it help to have decent tackling attributes? i want to try somthing new, never used 3 defenders. want to give it ago with doncaster my local team in league 1

Hi , yes it helps , let me know how it goes, as you can see i have done a season with 3 clubs all doing well i think from the 2nd and 3rd season i think it will be great.

any opposition instructions or do you let *** manger set pick them just before the game?
 
UPDATE - i decided to start a game in the czech second division with Trinec , i will now use this team and see how far i can go with them. will update end of each season.
 
Finished ore season with 1 loss and 2 draws, let a couple of goals in, won first game of the season 4-1 after being down to 9 men, lost second game 4-1 drew the next 3 1-1, then my laptop crashed. I've noticed that you have to set to close down or right mark opponent wingers as without full backs you get murdered by crosses, defenders struggle to cover if they have no place like in the league I was in. I'll start again tonight and set up a way to stop the wingers getting crosses in best I can and let you know after around 10 games :)
