Really?
A thread about haggis? Oh well?
It's a bit spicy but certainly not the most repulsive thing I've ever tasted, that honour belongs to jellied eels, tried them when I went visiting relatives a few years back,so wrong and so bad!

I've never tried haggis but I love white pudding and I'm told it's not too dissimilar from haggis.

Bovril is lovely too, can't beat it on a mid week, night game in the middle of winter.

Its not bad but its not good ither i'll stick to the fry up :D

Haggis is VERY nice. It has a sort of spice to it, goes perfect with a dollop o' HP!

Yeh sheep guts, posh word "offal" traditionally it is cooked wrapped in sheep stomach, not sure how much butchers still do it.

I had chieftain haggis in Glasgow a few times.
It's lovely with a few pints of guinness.

A thread on haggis? What's the world of FM-Base coming to?

Anyway, not tried it, and don't want to.

Haggis is amazing, Can't beat it on a roll with some brown sauce or with your fry up nom nom nom

Gregor recently convinced me to try some haggis. i had it with my last 2 weekend fry ups, its amazing with a roll and some brown sauce.

Took me ages to find in a butchers round here though, as im nowhere near scotland.

I want to try haggis but can't find it anywhere. The concept of eating sheep stomach or sheep guts sounds quite appealing

If you eat sausage, the skin is made of pig intestine.
